Technical Sales Representative

Technical Sales Representative - Fusible Alloys Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time, In-Office Position Bolton Metal Products is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to grow sales of our fusible and low-melting-temperature alloy products throughout the United States . This position focuses on developing new business, growing existing accounts, identifying new markets and applications, and building strong customer relationships. We manufacture specialty alloys containing metals including Bismuth, Tin, Lead, Cadmium, and Indium in a variety of forms, including ingots, wire, rods, buttons, pellets, and custom forms . Key Responsibilities 1. Develop new customers and sales opportunities throughout the United States. 2. Identify industries and applications that use or could benefit from fusible alloys. 3. Generate and follow up on leads, inquiries, quotations, and prospective customers. 4. Proactively contact potential customers and introduce Bolton Metal Products' products and capabilities. 5. Grow existing accounts by identifying additional product and volume opportunities. 6. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. 7. Follow up on quotations and opportunities to convert inquiries into orders. 8. Work with management to develop pricing and negotiate contracts and supply agreements. 9. Research new markets, applications, competitors, and industry trends. 10. Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed. 11. Maintain accurate customer, lead, quotation, and sales activity in the company's CRM system. 12. Track sales opportunities and provide pipeline and activity updates to management. Qualifications & Skills 1. Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, metals, technical, or B2B sales is preferred. 2. Proven ability to develop new business and build strong customer relationships. 3. Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and follow-up skills. 4. Comfortable prospecting and making direct contact with potential customers. 5. Ability to understand technical products and effectively communicate their applications and capabilities. 6. Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with management and production. 7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and standard business software. 8. Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations and industry events as needed. 9. Must be able to work Monday through Friday in our office. This is not a remote position. This is a hands-on sales and business development role focused on increasing sales, developing new customers, and expanding Bolton Metal Products into new markets and applications.
