Clinical Care Technician - Emergency Department St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Care Technician for our Emergency Department located within the Florence Hospital. Shift: PRN, Any shift. Job Description The Clinical Care Technician provides direct and indirect patient care to support a unit or facility as directed by a Registered Nurse (RN). Collect basic laboratory specimens and two‑hour troponins, collect legal alcohol specimens, perform EKGs, perform 2‑hour EKGs with troponins, assist with lifting and transporting, perform vital signs, clean and bandage wounds, splint fractures and other duties delegated by nursing staff within scope of training. Transport patients to testing. Perform CPR on cardiac arrest as members of the code team. Follow all policies and procedures in the collection of laboratory samples and in the performance of EKGs in an accurate and timely fashion. Assist nursing staff in addressing patient care needs, rounding frequently and ensuring that environment is conducive to care.
