The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Flight Test Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The selected candidate will be responsible for the creation of Fabrication Planning and Installation Planning, fabrication sourcing (inside and outside of Boeing), interface with procurement team, and tracking of parts after procurement. These efforts are to support the Flight Testing of multiple programs. Our team are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Flight Test Manufacturing Engineers.Position Responsibilities:Develop and implement production engineering methodologiesParticipate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplinesDevelop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for buildDevelop and implement manufacturing plansConduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirementsAssist in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practicesAnalyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitionsResolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or scheduleValidate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problemsImplement lean principles and technologiesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. CitizenshipBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement2+ years of experience working with a GOLD Uniface/GOLDesp application computing system2+ years of experience managing a Bill of Material (BOM)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience reviewing engineering requirements / drawings and providing manufacturability and producibility feedbackExperience with GOLDesp or similar Manufacturing Execution SystemExperience establishing "make / buy" plans to fabricate or purchase aircraft electrical components and wire bundlesExperience with Authoring and Updating Electrical Installations and Modifications Shop Floor Work InstructionsTop Secret Security Clearance (SAP).Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Pay & Benefits: At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
