Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Design | $80,000 - $110,000 salary, depending on experience Work Hours: Flexible hours | Flexible work-life balance Remote work available for experienced Engineers Job Overview: Work with Architects and other design professionals to design and evaluate mechanical and plumbing systems for Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects.Prepare detailed engineered drawings and plans for HVAC, mechanical piping, and domestic plumbing systems using the latest BIM softwareHeating/cooling load calculations & analysisLoad calculations, system designs, specification writing, and cost estimating for mechanical and plumbing systemsEquipment selection for air handlers, packaged units, boilers, chillers, pumps, coils, etc.Develop sequence of operation and control schematicsBuild specifications, review submittals and RFI's for constructionCost estimating for proposalsStay up to date with building codes, new technologies, and energy efficiency practices.Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning | WyomingMechanical Design Works (a wholly owned subsidiary of Powder River Heating and A/C) is the only locally owned, licensed, bonded, and insured mechanical engineering firm in Gillette, WY.
