Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, the server is responsible for serving both food and beverage to guests throughout the property, ensuring a positive guest experience. Essential Job Functions Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures. Work in a fast‑paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, maintaining physical stamina. Maintain a proper mental attitude, dealing effectively with guests, and possess the physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, and lift and carry items weighing up to 40lbs without restriction. Appear congenial with a neat, professional appearance and good personal hygiene. Be reliable and conscientious, able to interact (in English) with guests, co‑workers, and supervisory staff. Be accurate and detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Greet and serve guests in a timely and courteous manner. Take guest orders, serve food and drinks, and collect monies in a courteous and efficient manner. Adhere to cash‑handling procedures. Follow food & beverage policies, procedures, state liquor laws, and food‑safety handler regulations. Be knowledgeable of restaurant ordering systems and expediting systems. Complete all set‑up and closing duties in a timely fashion. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard‑free work environment within the area of responsibility. Demonstrate commitment to responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service, discreetly notifying management of concerns. Handle and solve any concerns or questions customers may have, relaying complaints or compliments to the appropriate manager on duty. Promote positive public/employee relations at all times. Perform other assignments as directed. Qualifications Minimum of 1 to 2 years of high‑volume food‑service experience. Table‑service restaurant experience highly preferred. Ability to deliver a service level that creates a memorable experience, encouraging guests to return. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond the responsibilities of the position, contributing to organizational goals. Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and an outgoing personality while projecting a professional appearance. Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays. Work Environment Exposure to casino‑related environmental factors such as second‑hand smoke and excessive noise. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, taste, and smell. Must lift and/or move up to 50lbs regularly. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced, crowded, and noisy. Must communicate effectively with guests in English.
