Job Summary The incumbent assists with the preparation of foods in the Deli. All duties are performed in accordance with the departmental and Seminole Casino policies, practices and procedures. Responsibilities Assist with preparation of foods in the Deli. Follow food safety and quality standards as outlined by casino policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. A culinary apprenticeship, AOS degree from a culinary institution preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Knowledge of sanitation and quality food preparation techniques. Work Environment May be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors including second‑hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant public exposure. The casino operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Employees may be required to work on any day the casino is open, including weekends and holidays. Physical demands include standing, walking, using hands to handle items, reaching, stooping, squatting, bending, and frequently lifting or carrying weights over 25 pounds. Eligibility Preferences Seminole Gaming gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
