DIGITAL PRINT OPERATOR II

Job Description and Duties Under the direction of the Associate Printing Plant Superintendent in the Office of State Publishing’s Pressroom Unit, the Digital Print Operator II operates and maintains high‑speed digital and finishing equipment. The position performs tasks related to the reproduction and assembly of printed material to ensure digital printing jobs are completed in accordance with the Office of State Publishing (OSP) policies, procedures and guidelines. Operate and maintain Cannon 6330 Titan Black & White printer, Cannon 9280 color printer, Cannon OCE 340 color printer, HP Pagewide XL 8000 color printer, Contex 5450 HD color scanner, and Kodak i5250V color scanner. Execute complex operating commands and electronic manipulation functions. Ensure digital printing jobs meet OSP quality standards and turnaround requirements. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment. Special Requirements Drug screening must be passed prior to hiring. Medical clearance must be obtained prior to hiring. Desirable Qualifications Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and willingness to work nights, overtime and in a noisy environment.
