Part-Time Universal Banker (20 Hours), Oakland MacArthur Branch Location: Oakland, California, United States Job Type: On-Site/Resident Posted: Jul. 06, 2026 Job Overview The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and increase sales to individual consumer clients. Responsibilities Assist in basic account opening for existing customers Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures Refer opportunities to segment partners when appropriate Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, marketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc. Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications 1-3 years of relevant experience Previous retail banking or similar experience required Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education High School diploma or equivalent Benefits Citi offers competitive employee benefits, including medical, dental & vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; and wellness programs.
