Data Center Network Engineer

Network Operations SpecialistProvide operational network support for existing and new network components including but not limited to:Troubleshooting network problemsCustomer incident and request managementConfigure network equipment to include but not limited to basic routing & switching, base and port configurations using standard operating procedures/checklists.Participate, as a team member, in network project installations which will include creating change documentation, implementation and cable matrixes and network drawingsAttend customer program/project meetings and provide updates on network progress as appropriateDirect physical touch resources on what network equipment should be landed and where and report back to project team or othersDirect physical touch resources on cabling needs for network equipment including proper cable labelling, installation etc.Demonstrable skills in the following technologies:IEEE 202.3 Ethernet SwitchingTCP/IP NetworkingRouting – BGP, OSPFVLANSubnettingLayer 1 Cabling detail – copper and fiberIndustry knowledge:Arista product or Cisco product experience
