Job Description

We are seeking an experienced  X-Ray Technician to perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience working independently, including in the Operating Room, and be proficient with GE imaging equipment in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients while ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiographic equipment, including GE imaging systems.
• Assist with imaging procedures in the Operating Room as needed.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate documentation of completed studies.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support efficient patient care.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational issues.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT (R)certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 18 months–3 years of X-Ray experience required.
• Experience with  GE imaging equipment required.
• Must be comfortable performing imaging in the  Operating Room (OR) .
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume acute care setting.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Important Details:

• 13-week contract position (extensions available)
• Shift is Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM–6:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required
• Location is Morristown, NJ 07960
• Pay Range for Local candidates: $50 - $54 per hour
• Pay Range for Travel candidates: $2,450- $2,500 per week
