Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a hospital oncology department requiring ARRT RADTH certification and 1+ year of experience with SBRT, IMRT, and breath-hold treatments.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Oncology Radiation Therapy department,
• Treats cancer and osteoarthritis patients,
• Performs SBRT, IMRT, basic radiation therapy, and breath-hold treatments,
• Uses Trilogy and/or TrueBeam LINAC machines,
• Two therapists assigned per machine, seeing 15-25 patients per day,
• Monday-Friday day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
• No weekend, on-call, or floating requirements,
• Full-time, 13-week assignment,

Job Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy required,
• State MRT/RRT license required if applicable,
• ARRT RADTH certification required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required,
• Ability to operate Trilogy and/or TrueBeam LINAC equipment,

Additional Information

• Administers prescribed radiation therapy treatments and radiographic procedures,
• Maintains treatment records and prepares operational reports,
• Maintains, stores, and orders supplies and equipment,
• Provides quality patient care tailored to diagnosis, treatment plan, and patient age group,
• Dress code preference is olive green pants with black shirts,
• Local candidates may be considered within a 50-mile radius of the facility,
• Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must have a 6-month separation before starting a new travel assignment,
• Open to first-time travelers with required experience and certifications
