Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description

KJ Electric is seeking a motivated, hands-on Warehouse Operation Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and willing to lead by example while working alongside the team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
Oversee storeroom inventory and work with purchasing, repair and panel shop
Manage inventory, ensuring accuracy and organization.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Load and unload freight from carriers safely and efficiently.
Ensure proper handling and storage of all products to maintain product integrity.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
Perform local deliveries and customer pickups using company vehicles, including stake rack trucks.
Coordinate shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other carrier software.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Assist with building and facility maintenance as needed.
Assist with deliveries when needed
Conduct daily inspections of company delivery vehicles and report any maintenance concerns.
Follow company safety policies and established warehouse procedures.
Work closely with purchasing, sales, and service departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Lead and support warehouse personnel while promoting teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience preferred.
Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
Experience with inventory control and warehouse organization.
Motor and repair shop knowledge preferred
Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and other shipping software.
Delivery driving experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience operating a stake rack truck is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
