Phlebotomist

Description Responsible for obtaining quality blood specimens by venipuncture and microtechniques with the least possible discomfort. The phlebotomist serves as the laboratory’s representative to the patient and must deliver care in a positive and caring manner. Responsible for receiving and processing of laboratory specimens. Employment Type Full time Shift Night Shift Schedule Friday, Sat, and Sun, 6P-6A. Qualifications Phlebotomy certification is preferred. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Previous experience in phlebotomy techniques in a clinical setting is required.
