Medical Assistant – Cardiology Office

Location: Modesto, CA Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $20/hr

A busy and professional cardiology office is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant who is eager to learn and grow within the cardiology field. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys patient care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants hands-on experience in a specialty setting.

Position Overview

The Medical Assistant will support providers and clinical staff with daily patient care duties while helping ensure efficient office operations and quality patient service.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations
• Obtain patient histories and vital signs
• Assist providers during office visits and procedures
• Perform EKGs and support other cardiology-related functions
• Maintain accurate EMR charting and documentation
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care

Requirements

• Formally trained and/or experienced Medical Assistant
• EMR charting experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Desire to learn and grow within the cardiology field
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office
