Job Full Description Our client in Independence, IA is looking for a Janitor! Position Summary: A leading manufacturing facility in Independence is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean and safe working environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Mop floors and clean/sanitize restrooms
- Vacuum carpets and dust office areas
- Clean interior and exterior windows
- Wipe down walls and surfaces as needed
- Operate a ride-on floor scrubber to clean large shop floors
- Follow cleaning checklists and safety guidelines
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Comfortable working in a large industrial/shop setting
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Monday - Friday
- 6am - 2:30pm
- $18.00/hour
