Now Hiring: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Harrisburg, PA 17110
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support for a 55-year-old woman with an intellectual disability.
Schedule:
Tuesday to Saturday | 8 AM - 3 PM
Sunday | 8 AM - 1 PM (to attend church)
Requirements:
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
Ability to provide transportation for community outings
Dependable, patient, and compassionate
Prior experience providing care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities
Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care, including daily morning showering
Provide verbal prompts to promote health and safety
Encourage independence while providing hands-on assistance when needed
Transport the individual to community activities, including the senior center, grocery store, library, appointments, church and other outings
Provide companionship and support with daily routines
