Special Education Teacher - ASD

Job Summary (List Format):
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for elementary students (grades 2-4) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Provide differentiated instruction tailored to each student's unique learning needs.
- Collect, document, and monitor student progress data regularly.
- Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Ensure compliance with IDEA regulations and district special education requirements.
- Create and maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Hold a valid Michigan Special Education license with ASD endorsement.
- Preferred: Previous experience working with students with severe impairments.
- Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
