Veterinary Receptionist Opportunity at Glenville Veterinary Clinic

Glenville Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our busy practice. This role is ideal for an energetic, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and managing a range of administrative responsibilities. You will be the first point of contact for clients and patients, helping to create a calm, organized, and compassionate clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls courteously, respond to routine inquiries, and take accurate messages for the clinical team.


• Schedule patient appointments, coordinate follow-up visits.


• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify and update client contact and pet information, and clearly explain clinic recommendations and next steps.


• Process client check-outs efficiently: collect payments, issue receipts, handle invoicing and reconcile daily cash and credit transactions.


• Maintain organized filing and documentation systems, scan medical records and paperwork, and ensure patient files are complete and up to date.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner are essential. Candidates should have general computer competency, including comfort with email and willingness to learn practice management software. The ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail is critical. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred but we are happy to provide training to motivated candidates.
