Senior Tax Manager

U.S. citizens or candidates legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. CPA certification required. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in a public accounting firm or related field. CPA certification required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and accounting/tax software such as QuickBooks and ProSystems (or similar). Outstanding organizational and project management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of interpersonal skills with professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in collaboration with partners. Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to professional development. Availability to work overtime as needed. Key Responsibilities Enhance client relationships through effective communication and delivery of value-added services. Provide value-added solutions to clients and manage overall client relationships. Oversee and manage a significant volume of engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgets. Identify opportunities to increase engagement efficiency and effectiveness. Develop strong practice development skills through professional networking activities. Manage workflow within the tax department and promote a positive work environment. Provide timely coaching and performance feedback to staff, encouraging their career development. Leverage partners' expertise and technical knowledge in client services. Stay informed about general economic conditions, political trends, and legislative initiatives affecting clients. Address unethical or inappropriate behavior and seek appropriate advice to resolve conflicts. Contribute to high office morale and teamwork on engagements.
