Established (40+ Years) and Growing Firm Seeking Attorneys for Civil Defense in Houston and Dallas, TX! An established firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join their team onsite in Houston, TX or Dallas, TX . This Attorney will handle an active caseload within a high volume transportation and insurance defense/commercial litigation practice spanning courts throughout Texas. Offer Salary range: $120,000-$160,000+, contingent on experience Benefits, PTO, Health + Dental Benefits Performance-based + discretionary Bonus Opportunities Clear Partnership track + other Growth Opportunities Qualifications Active member of the State Bar of Texas in good standing 4+ years of experience as an Attorney Significant litigation experience in Texas state and federal courts handling all aspects of pretrial and trial practice Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook along with Lexis‑Nexis and Westlaw Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a detail oriented and responsive approach Responsibilities Manage an active caseload of 20 or more cases throughout Texas in a high volume insurance defense and commercial litigation practice Coordinate with experts, draft and respond to discovery, and prepare insureds and other parties for depositions Take depositions and appear at hearings, trials, mediations and arbitrations as needed Draft motions and prepare for and attend trial while keeping assigning attorneys updated on strategy and key decisions Maintain prompt client and insured communication before, during and after each case Maintain punctual in‑office attendance and oversee support staff as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr CyberCoders
