The position solves inefficiencies across reporting cycles by modernizing close processes and financial tool workflows. By bridging operational performance with consolidated financial outcomes, the role ensures continuous clarity around key business drivers and strategic growth initiatives.What Success Looks Like (Objectives):Lead and ensure timely and accurate distribution of monthly financial reports to key stakeholders, such as Balance Sheets, P&Ls, and Cash Flow StatementsAssist in verifying the accuracy of external financial statements such as 10-K and 10-Q filingsOversee the development and production of high-quality quarterly investor relations presentations and earnings call preparation materials for C-level executives, Board of Directors and Audit Commettee materialsSynthesize complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership discussionServe as a primary point of contact for the CFO, providing high-impact ad hoc analysis and financial modelingCollaborate with multiple teams and department heads, including accounting, to translate operational drivers into consolidated financial views, and play a key role in the month/quarter/year end processContinuously refine reporting processes, leveraging financial systems (e.g., OneStream, Excel, Tableau) and AI to enhance efficiency and transparencySkills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring):Proficient in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of financial reporting systems a plus (e.g., Hyperion, Onestream), and Google Suite - primarily Sheets and SlidesExcellent teamwork skills with ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnelStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAnalytical Storytelling: Ability to focus on the "why" behind results rather than just reporting the eventsStrong written and verbal skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts for executive-level presentationsA proactive mindset to challenge current processes and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment to manage competing priorities effectivelyMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field5 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, or FP&AMicrosoft ExcelOneStream, Tableau, or similar financial reporting and BI applicationsFinancial statement analysis and reporting frameworksVisa sponsorship not available for this roleSalary RangesCompensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year BenefitsWe offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
