This is the motto that embodies our entire culture here at the Cavender Auto Family, and what has helped us grow into the amazing company we are today!Mercedes-Benz of Lubbock, Texas, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Parts Counter to join our growing family and help "Make Confidence Happen".Veterans and Military spouses are encouraged to apply!Why Work at Mercedes-Benz of Lubbock, Texas:Depending on experienceMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance, and pet insurancePaid Time offPaid Maternity and Paternity leave (Parental Leave)Company Paid $10,000 life insurance policyEmployee discounts on Vehicles, Service and PartsProfessional growth and development training on a quarterly basis.Here is what you will be doing:Ensure that customer complaints are handled tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern, and according to the dealership's guidelines; deals directly with customer complaints stemming from parts issuesEncourage the sale of branded partsSchedule regular efforts to improve the efficiency of customer/Parts Department interactions and transactionsEstablish processes to ensure accuracy between inventory and computer recordsRefresh accessory displays and coordinate with Sales Manager in ensuring an accessory vehicle is availableMonitor the workflow in the parts department and intervene as needed to ensure the work is completed on time and technician needs are metMake warranty and billing adjustmentsMonitor backorders daily ensuring deliveries are shipped and received as quickly as possibleEnsure that all dealership purchases are properly accounted for before payment is madeAssure that all parts are properly tagged to ensure that the dealership recovers full credit from the factoryAssist in collecting on overdue accountsNotify all special-order customers upon arrival of partsHere is what you will need:High School Diploma/GED is requiredSuccessfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.Valid driver's licenseAbility to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-basedDeals creatively and logically with any problems that arise, while expressing empathy for customers and their problemsMust have the ability to move about the parts department and have computer skillsAbility to meet the physical requirements of the role (i.e. lift over 50lbs.)
