Dental Assistant

Packard Dental is seeking an experienced, compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This position is part-time to start, with a strong opportunity to become full-time as our practice continues to grow. We are looking for a confident, self-motivated professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care, works well independently, and values being part of a supportive team. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred as we continue expanding care for our Spanish-speaking community. Responsibilities Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring excellent patient comfort. Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments. Sterilize and maintain instruments in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards. Take quality digital radiographs and intraoral photographs. Educate patients on treatment recommendations, oral hygiene, and post-operative instructions. Assist with impressions, temporaries, CEREC workflows, and other clinical procedures as needed. Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation in Eaglesoft. Monitor inventory and help keep operatories fully stocked and organized. Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and front office team members to provide an outstanding patient experience. Help maintain a clean, organized, and positive clinical environment. Be flexible and willing to assist wherever needed to support the success of the practice. Qualifications Required Previous experience as a dental assistant. Current Utah Dental Assistant certification (or ability to meet state requirements). Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Preferred Spanish-speaking (strongly preferred). Experience with digital radiography and Eaglesoft. Experience with CEREC, intraoral scanners, and modern digital dentistry.
