1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Trigyn's direct client in Maryland has a contract assignment for Help Desk Support Technician (REMOTE).NOTE:Selected candidate will need to go to the office onsite for Fingerprinting/background check and after that Initial Training is held on-site for one to two weeks.Work hours will be determined during hire but will be 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:15 PM.Roles and Responsibilities:Communicates with all levels of customersInstalls and configures applications and other supported software packagesPerforms basic troubleshooting and triage of computers via remote computer access and phoneResolves routine issues and problems related to hardware and softwareCreates tickets for all problems called into the Technology HelpdeskQuickly escalates issues and problems that are not resolvable as necessaryAssists clients with resolving device related issues via telephone supportHelps determine technical needs of supported systemsParticipates as team member on projectsRecords activities in the service desk software systemUpdates/Creates internal supported system documentationCommunicate technical issues, risks, and approaches to clientsPerforms other duties as assigned.Required Skills:Possession of a high school diploma or an appropriate equivalent, plus at least one year+ of experience in an INBOUND CALL CENTER environmentTwo+ years installing, configuring, maintaining, and trouble-shooting personal computers and related equipment, operating systems, and software applications, preferably in a large, multi-site agency.Experience with remote troubleshootingDesired Skills:Possession of A+ (Remote Technician) and Network+ certification is preferredKnowledge of computer operations and supportSkill in installing, configuring, maintaining, and trouble-shooting personal computers and related equipmentSkill in installing, configuring, maintaining, and trouble-shooting operating systems, software applications, and cabling componentsSkill in providing technical assistance, guidance, and training to users of varying levels of skills and abilitiesSkill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationshipsSkill in effectively prioritizing assignments and tasksSkill in communicating clearly and effectivelyAbility to provide consistent quality customer serviceAbility to deescalate customersAbility to maintain confidential information.For Immediate Response send your resume toTRIGYN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. is an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER and has been in business for 35 years.
