Financial Analyst

Position Summary Financial Analyst – Diabetes Care Division, Abbott – Alameda, CA. Responsibilities Support North America’s weekly sales, month‑end close, LBE confirms and forecasts. Consolidate financial forecasts and actuals reporting. Partner with affiliate commercial and functional teams to analyze sales, P&L and balance sheet performance versus financial benchmarks. Provide timely and accurate reporting to management using finance systems and business operations knowledge. Gain exposure to the full P&L each LBE cycle and learn key business drivers from each department. Collaborate with DHQ teams to prepare and analyze LBE submissions. Maintain an effective and efficient planning process for the division, including coordination of a planning calendar with key dates and deliverables. Support other ad‑hoc finance requests or inquiries from business partners. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field. Minimum 2+ years of full‑time finance and/or accounting experience. Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at multiple levels within the organization. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, variance analysis skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to learn system software and databases quickly (SAP, Essbase, HFM). Compensation Base pay: $81,500.00 – $141,300.00. Location Alameda, California.
