Budget Manager

Our non-profit client is seeking a Budget Manager to join their team. This position involves managing a broad range of responsibilities, with primary responsibility for developing, implementing, and administering budgeting and forecasting processes. Collaborating with the Chief Financial Officer, the Budget Manager assists senior leadership in developing financial KPIs and cost projections for new initiatives and strategic decisions. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $120,000 to $140,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating annual plan budget processes, budget revisions, and rolling forecasts.
  
  
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with budget owners across programs and departments.
  
  
• Designing, developing, and managing scalable financial tools and reports to streamline budget planning, variance analysis, and forecasting processes.
  
  
• Presenting findings and recommendations.
  
  
• Developing, implementing, and delivering standardized reports, dashboards, and presentations to effectively communicate accurate and timely financial performance.
  
  

Requirements:

• Intermediate to advanced Excel experience, particularly working with complex financial models.
  
  
• Knowledge of automated accounting systems.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
  
  
• 7+ years of progressively responsibly for accounting, budgeting, or financial forecasting experience.
  
  
• Data analytics experience.
