Receptionist (1478565) Eden Prairie, Minnesota Salary: USD20 - USD20.5 per hour Location: Eden Prairie, MN Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Position Overview We are seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, handling incoming communications, and supporting administrative functions across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment. Key Responsibilities Greet visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or team members. Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and assist guests with any needs during their visit. Answer general company questions and provide information in a courteous and professional manner. Keep the reception area, lobby, and common spaces clean, organized, and welcoming. Monitor and replenish coffee, water, and other lobby refreshments and supplies. Order and maintain office and reception supplies as needed. Assist with conference room setups, meetings, and catered lunches. Update and maintain policies, procedures, and process documentation. Support communication of updated processes and procedures across teams. Provide administrative support for special projects and department initiatives. Assist with mailroom responsibilities, including sorting mail, invoices, and packages, and provide coverage during team absences. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, or customer service role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic office environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology. Comfortable handling phones, visitor management, and administrative processes.
