CBOE, one of the world's leading exchange operators, is seeking an Investigator to join its Regulatory Division in Overland Park, KS. In this role, you will conduct investigations into potentially suspicious trading activity and possible violations of Exchange and SEC regulations. Working closely with Market Surveillance, Enforcement, and other regulatory teams, you will analyze trading data, financial information, and investigative evidence, interpret Exchange rules and regulatory requirements, and prepare detailed written reports that may be reviewed by agencies such as the SEC and FINRA. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear regulatory narratives and present findings to internal stakeholders. Candidates with backgrounds in law, finance, accounting, auditing, compliance, investigations, or other analytical disciplines are encouraged to apply. While experience with securities regulations, market surveillance, or trading investigations is preferred, the team is open to training candidates who demonstrate strong investigative, legal, financial, or analytical foundations.
