As the Store Manager, you are responsible for: Recruiting your team Training and developing your management team Training and developing your team on brand, product, and service You oversee all aspects of the retail business—from managing budgets to exceeding sales targets—and focus on creating a strong customer and staff experience, operational excellence, and continual personal growth. Responsibilities Customer Service: collaborate with your team to exceed daily sales goals and deliver a unique and inclusive customer experience. Building the Brand: educate customers and staff on our brand values and advocate our positions on animal testing, ethically sourced ingredients, 100% vegetarian products, and sustainable packaging. Product Passion: deepen product knowledge through continuous learning and provide informed recommendations. Driving Sales: demonstrate business acumen, analyze metrics and reports, and execute business plans aligned with corporate strategy to meet short‑ and long‑term sales goals. Leadership Practices and Staff Development: coach and develop your team, create development plans, encourage learning, and provide constructive feedback. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: maintain a diverse team, prioritize DEIB training, and collaborate on initiatives that promote equity and belonging. Engagement and Performance: assess performance concerns, create action plans, and address staff engagement through empathetic, personalized approaches. Recruitment and Selection: recruit diverse teams, ensure equal employment opportunity practices, provide transparent processes, and support staff career growth. Operational Excellence Policies and Procedures: ensure compliance, training completion, and adherence to company standards for attendance, breaks, product integrity, respectful workplace, anti‑harassment, health and safety, and daily communication. Stock and Inventory: train staff on inventory rules, manage orders, and use reporting tools to control inventory and waste within budget. Visuals and Merchandising: create and implement merchandising plans, train staff to maintain a clean and attractive environment, and follow design standards to enhance customer experience and sales. Scheduling, Time, and Attendance: schedule appropriate staffing levels, record breaks and meals, and maintain payroll accuracy while staying within labor budget.
