We specialize in professional IT consulting services, IT Staffing, Business/IT Strategy, Business Process Blueprints, Enterprise Architecture, and Enterprise Transformation.Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)Job Type: ContractJob Summary: We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst (Consultant) with 8+ years of experience to support enterprise technology initiatives by bridging business needs with technical delivery. This role requires a strong background in business analysis, enterprise application implementations, Agile delivery, system integrations, and stakeholder management.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements (BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria).Conduct current-state/future-state analysis, process mapping, workflow documentation, and gap analysis.Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, developers, QA teams, vendors, and implementation partners throughout the SDLC.Manage and refine product backlogs, prioritize requirements, and support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.Analyze enterprise integrations involving REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, SFTP, middleware, batch interfaces, and data flows.Perform SQL-based data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and support data migration initiatives.Coordinate SIT/UAT testing, defect management, release planning, deployment readiness, and production support.Create process flows, integration diagrams, data mapping documents, and technical documentation using tools like Visio, Lucid chart, and Miro.Required Qualifications8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Product Analyst.Strong expertise in Business Analysis, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, Requirements Gathering, Process Improvement, and Product Delivery.Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SQL, Oracle, ETL Concepts, Data Validation, and Data Migration.Experience working with REST APIs, SOAP, SFTP, Enterprise Integrations, Middleware, and Batch Processing.Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SAML SSO, IAM, and Role-Based Security.Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Lumen Solutions Group Inc is an equal opportunity employer.
