Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, MS Location: a healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Medical Surgical Floor Nurse to join the team on a 36-hour weekly rotating day/night schedule. This position involves caring for adult patients with acute and complex medical conditions on a 27-bed inpatient unit, primarily admitted from the Emergency Department or transferred from intensive care units.

Job Details

• Position Description: 36 hours per week, rotating day/night shifts, with occasional floating requirements. The unit is a 27-bed adult inpatient setting serving culturally diverse backgrounds with acute medical issues.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license, 1+ years of experience in a similar adult inpatient unit, travel experience preferred, proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EPIC).
• Schedule: Rotating D/N shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with patients often transferred from emergency or intensive care units. Candidates must be adaptable to occasional floating and possess strong clinical skills applicable to adult medical-surgical care.
