Promotes services of the organization in order to meet business need of both the greater organization and individual clinics. What you will do: Evaluate patients utilizing appropriate test and measures to determine the speech therapy problem/level of function and recommended treatment/discharge plan. Has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patent care protocol relations to the physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs for all applicable patients. Establishes speech therapy interventions based on the evaluation and examination, physician orders and patient's goals for therapy. Competently and safely perform appropriate speech therapy techniques and procedures. Provide for continuity of patient care through written and verbal communication with other health care professionals. Documents findings, patient progress, and all procedures performed within established time frames. Submits all patient billing at the end of each day. Instructs patients/family members on home programs. Facilitates smooth referral process across the organization for speech therapy needs.
