Key Responsibilities Review medical histories, and evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, rehabilitation potential, and goals Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and clinical evidence Implement stretching, therapeutic and strengthening exercises, and manual therapies (e.g., joint mobilization, soft tissue massage) Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed to optimize outcomes Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards Educate patients on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment progress and expectations Required Qualifications Current Colorado Physical Therapist License (or ability to obtain) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Current CPR/BLS certification Reliable transportation and flexibility to work as-needed shifts Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in orthopedic or sports medicine rehabilitation Certification in specialized areas (e.g., Certified Athletic Trainer, Sports Physical Therapy) Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred) Experience working in outpatient clinic settings Familiarity with mountain community healthcare needs Why Join Us We offer a supportive work environment where your clinical expertise is valued and your contributions directly impact patient outcomes.
