Job Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Network Operations Center Engineer to join our team and help maintain our reputation as a trusted partner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our IoT Network through effective monitoring and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 monitoring support for the IoT Network to minimize and prevent identified service impacts whenever possible.
• Execute the Incident Management Process, monitor strategies, and identify process improvements to ensure network quality.
• Assess, draft, and deliver timely Root Cause Analysis to internal and external customers.
• Continuously contribute to improve and achieve customer and global IoT Business Unit success.

• Experience in NOC operations, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Proficient in working with firewalls and 5G technologies.
• Strong analytical skills for tackling complex problems and identifying innovative solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience with SQL-like databases.
• Experience in a SaaS or hosted application service provider environment.
• US citizenship is required.
• Proficiency in writing preliminary reports.

The position requires working night shifts either from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday with flexibility between 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM EST. Team members rotate these shifts every four months, and there is very little on-call work involved. Collaboration with NOC counterparts and cross-functional teams in Customer Support and Engineering is integral to the role, promoting a collaborative and innovative work atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Alpharetta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $46.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Alpharetta,GA.
