Top-Ranked Philadelphia Firm Seeking Real Estate and Commercial Finance Associate Attorney for Real Estate Transactions and Commercial Finance Matters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

A prominent regional firm with one of the most active and diverse real estate and finance practices in the area is seeking a Real Estate and Commercial Finance Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join its Real Estate and Finance Department in the Philadelphia office. This in-office position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated transactions for a diverse client base spanning both sides of the deal table. The Real Estate and Commercial Finance Associate Attorney will represent sellers, buyers, borrowers, lenders, and preferred equity investors in connection with sales, acquisitions, construction and permanent financing, preferred equity investments, and debt restructurings, with exposure to CMBS loan transactions as well.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent degree from a well-respected U.S. law school
• Admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar or commitment to sit for the Bar exam promptly after starting
• 4+ years of experience in real estate and commercial finance law
• Experience representing sellers, buyers, borrowers, lenders, and preferred equity investors in transactional matters
• Familiarity with CMBS loans a plus
• Excellent writing and analytical skills
• Proactive, self-starting work style with outstanding attention to accuracy and detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to respond productively to direction and feedback
• Ability to manage workflow priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Collaborative team player with a spirit of camaraderie

Responsibilities

• Represent sellers and buyers in real estate sales and acquisition transactions
• Represent borrowers and lenders in connection with construction and permanent financing
• Advise preferred equity investors and other stakeholders in preferred equity investments and debt restructurings
• Handle CMBS loan transactions where applicable
• Manage transactional workflow from due diligence through closing across a range of commercial real estate and finance matters
