Sentara Albemarle Medical Center are seeking a professional and dedicated cook to join our culinary team! City/State Elizabeth City, NC Work Shift Rotating, hours between 5:00am - 7:30pm Responsibilities And Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and culinary techniques, Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items meet the established standards, Ensure that all operations in the kitchen comply with the food safety and sanitation standards and policies set by the chef and the state. Education HS - High School Grad or Equivalent - Experience in lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted. Experience Cooking and Food Service experience is required. Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, located in Elizabeth City, NC, serves northeastern North Carolina with a caring team of approximately 650 employees and 150 medical providers. It is projected to cost about $200 million, up from the original estimate of $158 million, due to sharp spikes in costs for building materials and medical equipment.
