Medicaid Billing Specialist

The Medicaid Billing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the financial sustainability of our programs by managing accurate and timely Medicaid billing, payment posting, claims resolution, and account reconciliation. This position works closely with clinical and program staff to ensure documentation supports billing requirements while maintaining compliance with Medicaid regulations and organizational standards.

As a Medicaid Billing Specialist, your work helps sustain the services that make a lasting difference in our communities. Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting, business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid billing, medical billing, healthcare revenue cycle, or insurance claims processing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Knowledge of Medicaid regulations, billing practices, and electronic health record systems, preferred.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Communicates professionally and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and billing software.
• Maintains confidentiality and manages sensitive information.
