Law Firm Job Contextual Overview Considine Search is seeking a legal associate with 2 to 8 years of experience to join a corporate group focused on emerging growth companies and institutional investors. The role involves representing issuers and investors in venture capital financings, M&A transactions, and general corporate advisory work. This position is based in the firm's New York or Washington, D.C. offices. Key Eligibility Criteria Education: JD degree from an accredited law school. Licensure: Must be admitted to practice in the state of the office location. Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Emerging Growth/Venture Capital; AmLaw 100 experience is preferred. Responsibilities & Scope of Work Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for transaction strategy. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and correspondence. Manage complex transactions from inception through closing. Maintain client relationships and provide regular legal advisory updates. Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in ongoing professional development.
