Summary A plaintiff's personal injury law firm handling cases in Maryland and the District of Columbia is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of personal injury experience . The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, writing, and oral advocacy skills and a desire to produce high-quality legal work. Responsibilities Conducting legal research Drafting lawsuits, discovery responses, motions, oppositions, memoranda, and briefs Meeting with clients Taking and defending depositions Arguing motions Assisting with and trying cases Managing case files and deadlines Communicating effectively with clients and other legal professionals Qualifications 3-5 years of personal injury experience required Must be admitted to the Maryland Bar Admitted to the DC Bar or willing to obtain admission (preferred) Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent oral advocacy and organizational skills Deposition and litigation experience Trial advocacy experience preferred Reliable transportation Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, energy, and a good sense of humor Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Pay: DOE Benefits Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Work Location: Hybrid in Lanham, MD #J-18808-Ljbffr
