Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Bensenville, IL
Pay: $28–$38/hr depending on experience and training
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd shift

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on high-speed food processing and packaging equipment (mixers, conveyors, blenders, metal detectors, laser daters, palletizers, etc.)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of issues including electrical controls, PLCs, mechanical failures, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Execute both scheduled and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and keep production on track
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns
• Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance logs
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure correct repair procedures
• Calibrate, align, and test sensors, VFDs, motors, and servo systems
• Maintain plant utilities and infrastructure including HVAC, boilers, compressed air systems, and plumbing
• Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize repairs and ensure minimal disruption to production
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and facility projects
• Follow all safety protocols and help foster a zero-incident workplace culture

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role 
• Strong skills in mechanical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and preventative maintenance; electrical troubleshooting preferred
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, and conveying systems

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• A self-starter who takes pride in solving problems and keeping the plant running smoothly
