Job Description
The Restaurant Line Cook plays a vital role in delivering high-quality food by preparing and cooking dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Working within a small team under the guidance of the Head Chef, the Line Cook manages self-directed shifts with flexible working hours, ensuring every plate meets the restaurant’s standards for flavor, presentation, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes
- Plate food with attention to presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Perform routine kitchen equipment maintenance
- Monitor food quality and freshness throughout service
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines strictly
- Manage waste efficiently to minimize environmental impact
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant cooking
