Title
Telemetry RN - Cardiac Stepdown

Schedule
Shift: 1845-0715 (Nights)

Assignment Details
Contract length: 13-26 weeks accepted
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor
- Traveler experience required unless candidate has more than 24 months of cardiac experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Preferred: arterial line management, wound care/Wound Vac, charge experience
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- Documentation system experience with Epic preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients in a post-cardiac surgery and stepdown setting.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
- Administer medications, including cardiac drips, and perform sheath removal and chest tube care.
- Support patients with non-invasive airway interventions (CPAP/BiPAP).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.
- Participation in Storm/Hurricane/Mass Casualty response may be required.
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Interview required prior to offer; candidates must provide interview availability upon submission.
- Additional onboarding and testing must be completed as per facility instructions.
