Courier/Swing Drvr/DOT

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area, as well as related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. External, Full Time, Tuesday‑Saturday, 0700‑1830, GXYA Greeley, CO. Minimum Education High school diploma/GED. Minimum Experience Six (6) months of courier experience preferred; must demonstrate area knowledge. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to inquiries and directions per FMCSA enforcement guidance. Job Conditions Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license per state requirements and maintain a good driving record as outlined in policy. Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Preferred Qualifications Tuesday through Saturday 7:00 am to 6:30 pm (in addition to standard hours). Pay 23.42 – 35.54 USD per hour.
