Position Summary The Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates all overnight maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role provides hands‑on leadership with a strong focus on electrical systems and extrusion machinery while minimizing downtime and supporting plant performance. Shift 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Midnight Shift) What You Get Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Stable, full-time employment Hands‑on training with advanced equipment Career growth opportunities Team‑oriented, high‑performance culture Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians on overnight shift Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, controls, and production equipment Lead maintenance support for extrusion lines to ensure uptime Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs Respond to breakdowns and perform root cause analysisEnsure safe, compliant maintenance practices Collaborate with production to minimize downtime Maintain maintenance records and reporting Train and mentor maintenance staff Support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred 5–8+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred Strong experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and controls Extrusion equipment experience strongly preferred Skills & Expertise Advanced troubleshooting (electrical, mechanical, controls) Knowledge of PLCs, drives, motors, and automation systems Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently on overnight shift Why Astro Shapes?
