Job Description Security Officer Armed Driving Role Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX . As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense. The post is armed and driving. Responsibilities include monitoring, patrolling, and conducting customer service in a high‑profile aerospace and defense location. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime, Fri 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM; Sun 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high‑profile aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access authorizations, and report access irregularities in accordance with site protocols and regulatory requirements. Support security‑related operations by completing incident reports, maintaining post records, and following instructions related to controlled areas, sensitive materials, and after‑hours site activity. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in the military, law enforcement, or verifiable armed security experience. Proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English proficiently. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
