Sr. Accountant

Position Title: Senior AccountantWage: Based on ExperienceAre you a detail-oriented accounting professional with advanced Excel skills? We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s finance team and play a key role in supporting business operations, improving financial processes, and driving accurate reporting. This position works directly with the CFO and provides oversight of the Accounts Payable function. This is a full-time, direct hire position that is fully onsite at their Janesville, WI location.Senior Accountant Responsibilities:- Manage bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, cash journal entries, and weekly payment processing to ensure accurate cash management- Complete month-end account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP- Develop, analyze, and report financial data using advanced Microsoft Excel tools, including complex pivot tables- Oversee intercompany sales tracking, broker commission calculations, and quarterly royalty payment reconciliations- Supervise the Accounts Payable function and support efficient accounting operations- Partner with cross-functional departments to identify process improvements and implement operational efficiencies- Assist with year-end inventory activities, audit requests, and other accounting projects as assignedRequirements for Senior Accountant:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or an Associate degree with equivalent experience- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong understanding of US GAAP- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including extensive with pivot tables- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and quantitative abilities- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work independentlyWhy Apply?- Direct exposure to executive leadership, including the CFO- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on financial operations and business performance- Collaborative and team-oriented work environment- Competitive compensation and benefits package- Growth opportunities within a stable and successful organizationIND345Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has the resources of a large company but the feel and personalized customer service of a small one.
