*Adjunct MRI Instructor* Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role. *Location:* Aurora, CO *Job Type:* Part-Time | On-Site (Remote Work Not Offered) *Schedule:* Saturday (8:00AM – 2:30PM) in addition to *6* Sundays (Externship Labs) *Pay: *Starting at$40.90/hour *Casa Loma College* is seeking a dynamic *Adjunct* *MRI Instructor* who will play a pivotal role in shaping students’ understanding of their preparation for this essential part of our MRI Program. This course covers imaging fundamentals, protocols, patient safety, and pathology interpretation in MRI. Instruction is delivered through a combination of lecture, and lab practicum. *Key responsibilities include:* * Deliver engaging lecture and lab content based on established curriculum * Prepare students for externship and clinical application * Integrate anatomy, pathology, imaging protocols, and safety procedures in teaching * Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment * Maintain accurate attendance and student records * Participate in required training for practicum labs & simulator * Learn ScanLabMR simulator & support students thru office hours Beyond instruction, the educator fosters an inclusive and encouraging learning environment by setting clear expectations, maintaining a positive demeanor, and demonstrating patience and empathy in all student interactions. *WHAT YOU WILL DO:* * Instruct students in assigned classes in accordance with course descriptions and/or learning outcomes, the course syllabus, and institutional policies and procedures. * Certify student attendance in classes by the established deadlines. * Maintain accurate and complete course records. * Submit final grades by the established deadlines. * Communicate with and provide feedback to students in a timely fashion. * Participate in the review of curricula and selection of instructional materials within the department. * Participate in required program reviews and the achievement of departmental goals. * Use knowledge of diverse communities and skill sets to diversify teaching methods and delivery of content in instruction. * Provide effective instruction to facilitate student learning in all classes taught. * Evaluate and assess student learning on a regular basis in all classes taught. * Participate in assessment activities at course, department, and college levels to assist students in achieving designated course objectives or learning outcomes. * Use appropriate technologies to enhance classroom or online instruction and to achieve established course objectives or learning outcomes. * Regularly evaluate teaching methods and continually improve instructional strategies. * Maintain knowledge and competence in the appropriate academic discipline or workforce field. * Maintain any required professional certification or licensure in the appropriate academic or technical discipline, where appropriate * Remain current with technological and pedagogical advances that promote continuous improvement of student learning. * Participate in a variety of professional development activities. * Participate in one's own performance review and evaluation. * Attend required commencement/graduation ceremonies. * Perform other duties mutually agreed upon in consultation with Program Director * Deliver engaging lecture and lab content based on established curriculum * Prepare students for externship and clinical application * Integrate anatomy, pathology, imaging protocols, and safety procedures in teaching * Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment * Maintain accurate attendance and student records * Participate in required onboarding and training *WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:* *Work Experience* * 3+ years of professional MRI clinical experience *Required Skills* * Bachelor's degree * ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification *Preferred Skills* * Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience preferred * Effective communication and organizational skills * Comfortable teaching in-person in a classroom and lab setting *WHY JOIN CASA LOMA COLLEGE?* At Casa Loma College, we foster a collaborative and supportive environment where your contributions help drive student and institutional success.
