Mechanical Assembler

We are looking for Mechanical / Electronic Assemblers (6AM-2:30PM)

Weekly Pay: $20.75/hr

This role involves assembling various components for water jet systems, including cutting and car wash applications, using a variety of hand and power tools. You will follow pictures and diagrams to complete assemblies, receive training as needed, and handle finished products for palletizing and transfer to the shipping department.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various ends and components for water jet systems, including cutting and car wash system parts, using hand and power tools.
• Follow pictures and diagrams to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Work a group team of 4-5 people.
• Handle and operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
• Follow all instructions and procedures provided by supervisors and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of required footwear and equipment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work in a team and help out in all areas!
• Good Attendance is KEY - Showing up to work everyday on time.
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to pass 7 year compliance check.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in an assembly or similar environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully, including working from pictures and diagrams.
• Capability to perform frequent heavy lifting of up to 40 pounds throughout the day.
• General labor experience in environments such as assembly, installation, or construction.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, installation, or construction environments.
• Willingness to receive training on assembly processes and tools as needed.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, well-maintained facility with a strong focus on company culture and a positive workplace atmosphere. Work is performed on a first shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The environment emphasizes safety, and you must wear steel toe or composite boots on the production floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savage, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
