We are hiring in the Equipment Engineering and Services department within the Recording Heads Operations at Seagate Technology, Inc. in Bloomington, MN. We are looking for skilled Engineering Technicians on multiple shifts. In this position, you will work on maintenance related activities on equipment in our Wafer Fab Cleanroom and actively interact cross-functionally with Process, RD, and Manufacturing departments. We are a team-oriented organization with a priority to enhance technician skills at all levels in the department.About the role - you will:Maintain, troubleshoot and repair of Vacuum, Photo, Plate, and Test equipment in Wafer fabrication.Utilize your knowledge of electronic circuits, PLC’s, Robotics and read schematicsBe able to follow and complete PM instructionsMaintain, repair and troubleshoot equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime.Work with technicians that repair and maintain production and production test equipmentAble to work safely on equipment that requires use of PPE, with chemicals or gasesEstablish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and proceduresAdminister training programs to ensure proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programs and proceduresWork on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutionsDetermine methods and procedures on new assignmentsProvide guidance to other non-exempt personnel.
