Position Summary Rutgers University–Camden seeks a Sr. Program Coordinator (CRM Specialist) to serve as the campus’s primary technical owner of email marketing execution, supporting undergraduate and graduate recruitment, yield, and engagement. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Creative Services, this is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role with direct responsibility and accountability for building, configuring, and maintaining automated email journeys, audience segmentation, data integrations, testing, and performance optimization within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Slate. The position requires a high degree of independent technical judgment and operational ownership in a fast‑paced enrollment environment. In addition to executing complex email programs, the specialist functions as a strategic advisor to Marketing and Communications, Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, and individual graduate schools—providing guidance on lifecycle communication strategy, platform capabilities, and best practices. This role balances deep technical expertise with consultative partnership, ensuring compliant, accurate, and audience‑centered communications across the full enrollment lifecycle. Salary Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, within university policy and salary schedules, as well as departmental budgets. Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Willing to work a hybrid arrangement per Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, subject to change and contingent upon approval. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience and two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in higher education, enrollment management, or marketing communications. Knowledge of Blackthorn for event and registration workflows. Familiarity with SQL, AMPScript, or other personalization tools within SFMC. Understanding of CRM‑based communication strategies and student lifecycle communications. Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s) or demonstrated professional experience building journeys, automations, and data extensions. Hands‑on experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder. Strong understanding of data extensions, relational data, and segmentation logic. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Able and willing to work at a fast pace. Ability to quickly master new technologies. Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, meeting assigned deadlines.
